In addition to its agricultural background, Bækhuse looks back on a long tradition of guest accommodation in West Jutland, long before "bed and breakfast" was even a concept in Denmark.
When we, Heiko and Nicole, first set foot on the approximately 4-hectare property with its two fishing lakes, we knew immediately: we want to preserve this oasis with respect and develop it with love.
Our love for Denmark ultimately prompted us to leave Switzerland and realize our long-cherished dream.
